Identity package for Brighton, MA dentist Maria Vasilakis DMD

Tuesday, June 21st, 2011

Dr. Maria Vasilakis, a dentist based in Brighton, MA, asked 67a2 to develop a complete identity package, including logo, business cards, stationary, signage, and a website for her newly formed practice.

Taking inspiration from the repetition of form in her initials (MV) and a set of perfectly aligned teeth, 67a2 designed an abstract logo of simple repetitive shapes to create an ultra minimal and modern graphic that ultimately speaks ‘dentist’ without being overtly literal in form. Since her practice specializes in ‘sedation’ dentistry, we seeked a calm and soothing color palate that still maintained the youthful energy of a young, new practice. The selected typeface (Neutraface), tempers the youthful minimalism of the logo with a classic look and feel, evoking professionalism and her family lineage as a 3rd generation dentist.

Identity for Greek real estate company Isle, Ltd.

Saturday, May 21st, 2011

Isle Ltd asked 67a2 to create a bold new identity for their real estate development company, located in Athens, Greece. Taking cues from the history and permanence of ancient greek archeology, 67a2 developed the ISLE logo.

Using a condensed style of the ‘Univers’ typeface as a starting point, each letter was shaped to create an identity that evokes the permanence, confidence, and antiquity of the greek isles. Packaged in an undoubtably modern aesthetic the logo echoes the company’s sleek new constructions on ancient topographies.
